The page contains a mix of printed text from the catalog and handwritten notes, alongside a small clipping that provides additional context about museum activities during the same period.
The image shows a page from what appears to be an exhibition catalog or a scrapbook related to an art exhibition. The page is from the Busch-Reisinger Museum at Harvard University and features information about an exhibition titled "SAINTS IN GOTHIC ART." The exhibition was lent by The Metropolitan Museum of New York and circulated by The American Federation of Arts, and it took place from April 1 to April 22.
There are handwritten notes on the page, including what looks like dates and names, possibly indicating related events or additional artwork details. One of the handwritten notes mentions "Modern Sculpt" and "Painting," with dates March 25 to May 1, and a name that appears to be "Robert S. Davis," along with the note "13-2 ocl."
There is also a small, yellowed newspaper clipping pasted on the page. The clipping’s headline reads, "Museum Finishes First Series Of Afternoon Organ Concerts," and it mentions that the Busch-Reisinger Museum ended its first series of afternoon organ concerts successfully, featuring recordings of Bach. The clipping also notes that two new exhibits were opened, one of which is the "SAINTS IN GOTHIC ART" exhibition, and another titled "The Four Seasons," with drawings by Paul Klee, which will be on display for three more weeks. The clipping is dated and provides additional context about the cultural activities at the museum.
